It is so funny how when you start
off putting pictures every day or two, that people come to expect it,
and (i'll say it) get a little spoiled... Yes, I include myself in that
group. It feels a little different being on the opposite side of the
fence and having to wait! Carol was telling me that she usually
gets so busy with puppies that in her past litters, she used to just
send out pictures once a week on a Sunday and people would call when
she forgot. Now, if two days go by without pics, I get slammed
with IMs. Ha ha.
Today was the puppies first day on gruel. As expected, the one happiest to be in this stage is Renesmee. I totally called it when I said she wanted to be on gruel on Day 1. Of course, the biggest fatties, Carlisle and the brindle girls didn't want to have much to do with it. Renesmee not only stuffed herself but swam in it as well! Jacob apparently ate so much that he looked like he was going to explode! The pups are doing really great apart from having a bit of loose stools but are still very active so Grandma Carol isn't too worried. Sasha wasn't very happy to be nursing yestrday but Carol said today, the open bar was back and she spent 6-7 hours straight in the box. Things are going well and everyone is thriving although Grandma Carol is a little overwhelmed as one of her adults had to undergo surgery yesterday for catching and eating a whole rabbit! Prayers to them both. And thank you for thinking about us and sending pictures even though you must be worried/stressed/going crazy right now...We all appreciate what you are doing for our babies! Oh, I did want to say that starting today, two of their puppies have new names. Carlisle will now be known as Jackson and Jacob is now Liam. They are going to two of the BEST homes ever! Guide to the Puppies:
Light Blue: Carlisle/Jackson* Green: Jacob/Liam * Yellow: Alice Red: Bella* Orange: Renesmee/Nessie * White: Esme Pink: Rosalie
