Chapter VIII: The Sixth Week
(Day 36 - Day 42)

February 23, 2007
(Day Forty Two)

Grandmas Karen and Paula left went home today.  While they were here, they started house training the pups.  They let them outside after every meal and as soon as they wake up and that's kept the pens a little cleaner.  Grandma Karen started introducing the clicker to the puppies earlier this week in the process teased Cider with the click noises.  The pups went on a car ride today to pick up some tacos and Halley didn't really like it for the first 5 minutes but was fine after that.  If she doesn't get used to it now, she'll get used to it when Grandpa John takes her on a 16 hour car drive home.

There seems to be a lot more dominance play going on with the pups today.  It seems that who the alpha is changes on a daily basis. It will be interesting to see how things develop.

Weights today:
Sparkle -14lbs 12oz  Coda -15lbs 10.5oz   Halley - 14lbs 13.5oz
