Chapter VII: The Fifth Week
(Day 29 - Day 35)February 10, 2007
(Day Twenty Nine)Each of the puppies got some alone time with mom today out in the living room. They each got to explore the living room a little -- and experience more of the surfaces in this room. So far, they have been exposed to quite a few surfaces already: the blankets, carpet, rubber matting, marble tile, formica, leather, plastic crate bottom, the doggy litter in the metal pan, and a few odds and ends of different stuff we bought at home depot. They have been doing well. Murphy still isn't sure what to do with them but he tolerated being on the couch with Cid and her puppies. He even reached out to sniff Coda and Sparkle. But, as soon as they paid attention to him, he was off the couch and up the stairs.
I'm very pleased that the puppies are using the training pads to pee and poop about 80% of the time. It is making things much easier to clean!
That's all the update for now -- have to cuddle with the puppers.
