Chapter VII: The Fifth Week
(Day 29 - Day 35)February 11, 2007
(Day Thirty)Today was the continuation of the puppy's learning about the world outside the whelping box. I had let them explore the puppy room yesterday while I was cleaning the box and they seemed to enjoy their time away. Coda and Sparkle went to exploring immediately...Drizzle was unsure about her surroundings for about a minute and then decided to join the fun with her siblings.
This morning, I let them explore the room as much as they wanted. The nice thing about only having 3 puppies is that it's easy to keep an eye on what they are getting into which is good, because they get into EVERYTHING. They seemed to remember yesterday's short intro because today, they went right to sniffing every inch of what was around them without hesitation. Coda is still the most confident puppy but it seems like the girls are pretty confident as well.

Sparkle -10lbs 1.5oz Coda - 10lbs 6oz Drizzle - 10lbs
