Chapter IX: The Seventh
(Day 43 - Day 49)

February 26, 2007
(Day Forty Five)

I still am not feeling to well today so I asked Jamal's sister, Sade to come help out. Thankfully, she agreed.  The pups had a good time with their great aunt. Coda absolutely loved the wagon ride she gave him  (though his sisters just wanted to jump out).

I had to go to the doctor, so Sade packed up the puppies and they all rode in the back of my mini van and waited there until I was done.  We stopped by Whataburger on the way and the pups were very interested in the cheeseburgers we ordered :-P They seem to have enjoyed the cars motion because they spent most of the trip asleep.

The pups also started leash training today. We attached the leashes to them while they played. Once in awhile, they would tug on each others leashes and that was adorable.  They don't seem to mind dragging the leashes around. I haven't tried holding it my hand and making them follow me yet but we'll try that after a few sessions of them just dragging leashes.

Weights today:
Sparkle -16 lbs  Coda -16lbs 14oz   Halley - 16lbs 3oz
