Chapter V: The Puppies Are Three Weeks Old
(Day 15 - Day 21)January 27, 2007
(Day Fifteen)Jamal and I survived the night without Grandma Karen. Toenails have been cut, whelping box changed for the ith time. All the laundry is done. Cider is still being a very picky with what she's eating. I think she's getting spoiled with us cooking for her all the time. We bought a few cans of canine caviar (ground BEAVER and duck) as well as some Trippett at the local petstore. The people at Bark n Purr say that picky eaters love that stuff and so far, she's eating it on her own.
Drizzle took her first steps and her first poop on her own. They are growing up so fast. I can't believe it. Coda is almost standing up own too.
Weights for today: Sparkle is 4lbs 7.5oz, Coda is 4lbs 8oz and Drizzle is 4lbs 8.5oz.
