Chapter II: The Birth

At 8am, we started our journey to Dr. Nairn's office to have Cid's c-section. We should have known  that nothing relating to Cider would be normal.  We drove through a horrible rainstorm -- and poor Aunt Bridgette drove through a tornado to get to the vet's office. When we got there, the vet couldn't make it in because her house was flooded.  They called Dr. Van Brunt  to take over.  Dr. Nairn and Dr. Van Brunt ended up both getting there two hours late so Cider got two vets!  She and Sparky blessed us with a brindle boy, brindle girl and apricot girl .....

Special thanks to Dr. Poremski, Dr.Nairn, Dr. Van Brunt and the rest of the Century Animal hospital staff for braving the storm and being so great about answering all our questions.  Your patience is much appreciated!!!!!
