Chapter XI:  Puppies Go Home

My laptop broke right after my last update and it's still in the shop so no new pictures!

Both girls have finally left and are doing well in their homes. I miss them but they will be going to the very best homes ever and it is nice to finally get to focus on Coda.  Sparkle will be getting  to swim and play with her Uncles Surf and Jon Luc, Aunt Luna, Grandma Spice, and Aunt Dax.  Halley has her half sister Roz, her niece Sizzle (her favorite), and Uncle Wyatt to run around with.  And of course, they have Grandparents Flocker and Lange to spoil them.

It's been a great experience thanks to all of the people that pitched in.  I am so lucky to have such a wonderful network of friends and family.  I really could not do this without you.

Karen--Thank you so much for being such a great mentor and friend. I could not do this without you here.  We couldn't be prouder of being part of the New Beginnings family.  Thank you to you and Jeffrey for entrusting us with Cider.  She is a wonderful, beautiful girl and we feel blessed to have her (and now her son) in our lives.

Paula -- Thank you for entrusting us with a part of Sparky's legacy. I don't think there's another stud owner out there who would call to make sure a puppy pooped and cared so much about the well-being of Cider too :-P  I enjoyed getting to know you and sharing this miracle with you.

Bridgette--How do I even begin to thank you? Taking vacation time, being electricuted, answering my frantic phone calls, driving through a tornado, making me go out to dinner when I'm going stir crazy :-P Thank you for keeping me sane. Cider could not ask for a better Auntie and I can't ask for a better friend.

Mandie -- I know you think I'm crazy sometimes but thank you SO much for being here during your days off, weathering the ice storm to get us the medications and supplies we needed, and coming on short notice to watch the babies  when I need to run errands.  I really really appreciate it!

Sade -- Thank you so much for loving your grand nieces and nephew and watching them and taking care of them. I don't know what we would have done if you didn't offer to help us those last couple of weeks.  We appreciate it and stop by anytime for good take-out food :-P

To everyone else who has been there to listen to my trials and tribulations, given great advice, calmed me down when I needed it, sent me stuff to use for the babies, and just generally were there for me --a heartfelt thank you. I didn't think I was prepared to raise a litter, and I probably wasn't, but thanks to all of you, Cider and I made it through.

I love you all......
